Fall Installation
9/25/2017
You know a new season is almost here when the Market gets a fresh look. This year's fall display is all about texture. From florals at the entrance, to stacked yarn balls of all different sizes and colors, we're ready to bring autumn indoors. We hope shopping at Magnolia this fall becomes an experience of its own. The part of our new display that guests seem to look forward to the most is our front mantel. This is one of the first things you notice when you walk through the front door, so we always go the extra mile to make it a worthy first impression. Each flower above it was hand embroidered from yarn, and the lettering is a quote that we used in the fall issue of The Magnolia Journal: Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life, it turns what we have into enough and more. Melody Beattie
Every corner of the Market was carefully thought out, and getting to see all of the visuals come together is one of our favorite parts of the Market display.
Some of the very best store elements can be found in the details! Maybe you wouldn't want to hang a display of falling leaves in your home, but some of our favorite design ideas that incorporate product can be discovered in the smaller display elements.
The kitchen is a place we tend to spend more time during fall months, and we wanted to carry that feeling over to this kitchen, too. If you leave this corner of the Market ready to whip up Grandma's Homemade Apple Pie, then we've done our job.
And, of course, the sweetest part of changing seasons: new cupcakes! This fall, we're bringing back Cup o' Jo, a tried and true favorite with chocolate cake and espresso buttercream icing. As well as Campfire, a nod to everyone's go-to childhood dessert- s'mores. And last for best, Pumpkin Spice, an old-fashioned pumpkin cake and cream cheese icing.
Fall at the Market is definitely something worth seeing. We hope you leave feeling fueled with fresh ideas to put to work in your own home this season. (And maybe a box full of fall cupcakes for the road!) Are you planning a visit to Magnolia in the next few months? Comment below and let us know what you're looking forward to most of all!
